SC Falcons Volunteers

The Falcons are always looking for reliable and trust worthy volunteers for our nine home game days and trials at Sunshine Coast Stadium.

We already have some fantastic volunteers in some of these positions below, but please feel free to send in an expression of interest via the form below, and we will let you know if a position becomes available.

Volunteer Positions

Details
  • Things like putting up goal post pads, corner posts and sponsors bolsters on the Stadium field. This is usually done a few hours before kick- off of the first game of the day.
  • What goes out must come back in at the end of the last game.
  • There could be two or three games on over the day, particularly at the start of the season.
  • Assisting in cleaning the sideline benches clear of strapping tape, drinking cups etc at the end of the matches
Details
  • Not for the faint hearted.
  • Packing appropriate drinks into the corporate eskies and filling with ice
  • Delivering eskies to private corporate boxes and ensuring that guests are kept well–hydrated throughout the day.
  • Emptying eskies at the end of the day and placing back into storage area.
Details
  • Situated in the front courtyard of the Stadium where you unfortunately won’t get to see much of the footy
  • Assisting with the distribution of season members’ merchandise and tickets to appropriate guests
  • Assisting with the distribution of sponsors’ merchandise and tickets to appropriate guests
  • Directing guest to their appropriate seats

Joe and Desley Borg

Joe and Desley love getting to know the players, playing staff and sponsors. Rugby League has been a large part of their lives for a long time, with Joe playing and coaching in Brisbane for many years.

Peter Tsakissiris

Peter loves the Falcons family, including staff, players, and sponsors. Rugby league is in his blood and he is a strong Falcons supporter.

Peter is our corporate lounge security, you can find him at the Southern Lounge most game days!

Barbara Tsakissiris

Barb loves meeting the players, staff, sponsors, security staff and ticket holders. Volunteering has led to Barb forming great friendships over the years.

Noel Warner

Barb loves meeting the players, staff, sponsors, security staff and ticket holders. Volunteering has led to Barb forming great friendships over the years.

Where you can say hi

Noel has helped out in a few different roles over the years, including keeping club records, helping out on the Falcons golf day and selling raffle tickets. You can find Noel at most home games selling doubles tickets by the front entry gate.

Nicky Weise

What she loves

Nicky’s favourite things about the club are the team spirit and core values. She loves being part of an amazing group of current and past players and staff who have supported her throughout her time with the Falcons.

You can find Nicky behind the camera at our Falcons Footy program, many of our Hostplus Cup and younger grades games and training sessions, and at our Falcons events such as our season launch, awards nights and sponsors lunches.


Kristy Bignell

What they love
The club is an amazing community and family to be a part of, from the staff, players, coaching staff, sponsors and volunteers. Everyone is always supporting each other and helping where they can. Kristy loves how amazing the players are with them taking the time to talk and play with the kids of the Footy Kids program during a session and also after the players themselves have finished a game.
