The Vantage Homes Falcons are extremely excited to announce our first-ever BMD Open Women’s signing, Annette Brander!
The former Jillaroo, QLD representative, two-time NRLW premiership winner and Karyn Murphy medallist will add some wonderful experience and firepower to our first-ever BMD Open Women’s team.
“I’m extremely excited to be a part of the Sunshine Coast Falcons in its first year in the BMD competition. I’ve always been passionate about female rugby league on the Sunshine Coast and now we have the chance to build something really special. There is a lot of untapped talent on the Sunshine Coast and now with the Falcons as part of the BMD, we have a clear pathway which is going to create so many opportunities for local players,” Brander said.
“The Sunshine Coast is where I started my football career and it’s where I hope to finish it,” Brander added.
