After forming our first ever Falcons U19’s women’s team earlier this season, a BHP Team is definitely a priority of the Club, but rather than rush into a team for 2022 we will look to form a BHP Academy that will develop a playing squad over the next 12 months and we will enter a Falcons team into the 2023 BHP Competition. The uncertainty around funding levels next season plus the fact that we are currently in September and would need to have a full squad locked in for training in early November and now today hearing that the NRLW isn’t going to be played until the start of 2022 has also contributed to our decision.

We will once again enter a Falcons U19’s team into the 2022 Harvey Norman 19’s competition and continue to build a base for the BHP women’s squad in 2023.
