In very wet and very windy conditions, particularly in the 2nd half on Saturday, the Vantage Homes Falcons defeated the Mackay Cutters 30 – 10 in our Anzac Weekend clash to move into 2nd place on the Hostplus Cup ladder.
Falcons captain Patrice Siolo was awarded the Macca’s Player of the Match at the post-match awards held upstairs after the match.

The Falcons U21’s also defeated the Mackay Cutters 24 – 4 to secure 1st place on the Hastings Deering Colts ladder.
Only a few sponsors braved the horrendous conditions outside of the corporate area in the 2nd half – special mention to Christine Oakes (Oakes and Sons), Debbie Bishop (Southern Cross Sheds), Kelli and Shaun Cronau (Cronau Enterprises) and Sandy Galloway (Conbuild) – great commitment team!
