The Vantage Homes Falcons notched up their 5th consecutive win of the season with a hard fought 22 – 14 win over the other Melbourne Storm feeder team, the Brisbane Tigers, yesterday afternoon.
With the entire Storm playing and coaching staff watching on from the Sunshine Coast Stadium stands, and the Tigers with 6 Storm players and Falcons with 3, both teams ripped into each other from the opening whistle and played some high quality footy. Both teams had their chances to win it, but thankfully for the Falcons our defence stood strong when it was needed most, and we were able to seal the match in the final minute with an amazing charge down from Falcons big forward Ryan Turner who scored under the posts to send the big home crowd into a frenzy.
